Good to see you are getting back out on the bike. You passed me in the standings due to some vacations and house visitors, so I'll try to creep back up on you. I admire your regularity - - don't know how you do it with no hills, no curvy roads, few trees. Pure commitment, I guess.

I am absolutely in awe of what you have been doing on your bikes, especially because of your young age. I've made it my lifetime goal to attempt to still be riding at your age. Best wishes for your valve op.

Started serious riding about 20 years ago, I ride between 10,000-15,000 miles a year. and average 300-350 miles a week in the spring-summer-fall, and depending on the weather about 100 miles a week in the winter. I Ride 2 different bikes, New specialized StumpJumper FSR 2008, and a carbon Roubaix Comp, converted with a flat bar. I do lots of rail trails, both paved and unpaved. Devils gulch single track near Wenatchee Wash is my favorite single track. The picture was taken near Helper, Utah. My Daughter's home is between my arms 500 feet below two cliffs. |
