"mom" and I have been running a mileage contest since 1-1-07. Still neck in neck to the end of the year. I sure enjoyed getting to ride with you on the Hancock 100. The morning could have been a little drier! You did super & set a personal best for the century!!! Oh yea, that was after sandbagging for the first 70 miles, THEN taking the lead into the headwind for 20 miles Looking forward to the next get together.

I'm a mom of 4 kids, too, ages 14, 12, 8, 6. I've been riding consistently for the past 2 years and have been in a biathlon and a 50 mile bike tour (Eddy's Sweet Corn Challenge). Haven't ridden much over the winter months, but am starting to ramp up my mileage again and plan on a few bike tours this year.

what web site should I go to to sign up for the Maumeebay resort 200 mile ride? The only information on the page on bike journal.com is the cabin resort Email adress.

History:
|
I started riding a Trek hybrid in 2006 when my husband and I sent our oldest "child" off to college. A year later I bought a new road bike, Serotta Fierte, and if I thought it couldn't get any better....well it did! Cycling has been very good for me. I've lost some weight, improved my fitness, managed stress without medication and best of all, I've made some great new friends. I can't imagine life without cycling. |

Description: silver, two wheels, one in front, one in back. I could go on but I don't want to incite anyone to jealousy over my fabulous ride. "It's not about the bike." LA (seriously, if I had a really good bike, I'd probably be bragging about it,too) I got a fever, and the only cure is a new road bike! But which one?
