Started riding sometime in 2000, but after being hit twice by knuckleheads in cars, I hung up my bike for several years. Started riding with club May 2008. This has been one of best decision of late. Biking has surpassed my old 'true love' hobby of backpacking/climbing in the Sierras. The bike journal helps me keep focus and logging those miles. The cycling connection club has some great people and I really enjoy learning from them. Ride on. Hope one day to do a double century to experience the joy of being on the saddle for 12 hrs. |
