2000 Bike Friday TTXL - Tandem

Description: I picked up this Red TTXL tandem used (3 months old) in November, 2000 off of the YAK chat line. I have taken it to France for a two week tour and on weekend camping trips. I pull my BOB trailer with it. I sold my Santana tandem after riding the TTLX for awhile. Didn't need two tandems when I didn't have a permanent stoker. I have ridden this bike 1658 miles since I purchased it.

Description: A 1992 model that I purchased new in 1995 at a bike shop close-out. It's a true touring bike. It came with front and rear racks and fenders. I have used this bike to commute to work for 9 years and also loaded tour on it. I've used panniers on it and also pulled my BOB trailer. I prefer the BOB. I have ridden this bike 43,271 miles since I purchased it. This bike has been my workhorse.
