I took up biking in June of 2010 to supplement my marathon running and swimming. I was training in all three disciplines, running, biking and swimming, plus weight training, up until I nearly destroyed my left knee running Disney's Wine & Dine Half Marathon this past October. Running and speed walking is no longer included in my exercise repertoire due to knee and back issues. |
