Description: This old school machine features the hand-crafted chrome moly fillet-brazed frame that enjoyed a four-decade production run in Chicago USA. With center pull caliper brakes, friction shifters, a boat anchor one-piece steel crank, alloy wheels/bars/stem, the low bottom bracket, Kool Lemon paint job, Kontact saddle and "Schwinn Approved" rear rack, what's not to love? The Super Sport conveys me as it glides between the bucolic countryside and the gritty yet prosperous urban industrial area.

Description: Econo-brand steel frame bike that I got for free as a 15-year service award from my job. Except for the alloy wheels, just about everything that isn't steel is made from plastic. I get a kick out of the friction shifters that "click" when you move them, so you can pretend they are indexed. It's my winter weather bike and with studded snow tires, it actually handles pretty well.
