I am baby boomer who grew up riding everywhere in CA and later in FL: dawn to dusk, from elementary school to university, with friends, to the beach, and now club rides. I've always had a bike and I've always ridden. Rode steel frames in the 60s-70s, and 80s on Trek aluminum. I owned one of Trek's early OCLV carbon frames in mid-90s, then a Litespeed titanium from 2000 to 2010 (25K beautiful miles). Now I'm on a LOOK carbon superbike, a thing of beauty with ride quality to match. How long can this go on? Forever, I hope. |
