I got my first "real" bike in '83 when I was 16. By '86 I bicycled in my fist long multi day bike ride across my home state of Wisconsin called the SAAGBRA. In '88 my buddy Craig and I biked for 19 days straight from Milwaukee WI to Albuquerque NM all self supported. In the 90's in Wisconsin I would probably only average about a 1000 miles a year (the season is short up there!). In '98, after moving here, I discovered Phoenix Metro Bike Club and started riding with them. In '99 I did my First El Tour de Tucson 50 mile event. Then took a few year break from cycling getting back into it in '04 when I bought my new Trek. Last year was my best year ever for total miles with over 3400. Did my fist full 111 mile Tour de Tucson. I hope to get in about 3500 miles again this year. |

Description: I dont recall the model name, but I got this Peugeot in '86 and rode it until about 2000. Took this bike on some of my life's biggest cycling adventures inlcuding my partial cross country self suported Milwaukee, WI-Albuquerque NM adventure in 1988. In addition, ccmpleted multiple MS Best Dam Bike Tours in Wisconsin in the early 90's. Last big ride for this bike was '99 El Tour de Tucson.
