This bike replaces the Thorn that was damaged beyond repair in the car collision and becomes my poor weather commuter and also an audax bike. But the ride is so submlime that I may take it out a lot just for the fun of it.

Lumicycle Halide 2004 bulb replaced 10th Jan 2007 after it ran out of life !!
This bike has once again been upgraded. The wheels are now Hope Pro III hubs laced to 32 hole DT Swiss RR1.1 rims. New green Swissstop pads make rim wear a thing of the past.It is now a joy to ride - an absolutely fantastic winter / wet weather bike. I've also added a Bagman for my Carradice Nelso for audax rides.
NB: Speedplays replaced at 8,037.8 miles due to right pedal failing.
**Accident with car on 16th April 2009 ** The frame was damaged beyond repair, as was the fork.

Description: Great proof of concept. Slightly too big for me but now I know I loved fixed I can fork out on a new frame / fork and swap over the components. I managed to get a new seat post seized in this one. Too much force and not enough thought.
