History:

I started riding again in Aug.2005, after almost 11 years off. It has been a life changing experience to me. Bike Journal has inspired me to manage my riding by logging my miles.
I am slow on start up in 2009 due to health problems mostly related to my Syringomyelia/Arnold Chiari Type II Not sure on goal total anymore, my goal as a survivor is to keep plugging in there and enjoy the ride.
My secret weapon: get out and even if it's a very short ride, Just Do It, it keeps my body working a lot better than sitting in a wheelchair or on a walker, both of which are gathering dust in storage again and I plan to keep them there as long as possible.

Well I survived 2009 and 2010
Here it is 2011 already and the first 4 months have flown by. I suffered a bad relapse in mid 2010 and was barely able to walk, well I fought through it and now that I have relocated to W.Fort Worth I am knocking out short rides and walking abt an hour a day. I'm no Lance but my philosophy is very similar, neither of us gives up. I hope if I do nothing else in life is to inspire at least one other person to beleive in themselves and fight through the pain and never say never.
