History:
|
Dec. 2005 A week after my 43 birthday I found myself weighing 240lbs and had to do something. I went to the gym and by May of '06 had dropped 55lbs.
May 2006 Got a $75 Walmart Next bike and fell in love with riding it. Sept 2006 got my Novara Forza and did my first Metric and first Century.
December 2006 Got my first real road bike, the Felt F75.
The adventure continues...
Update 5/04/12 I have now ridden 38 Centuries, and 12 Double Centuries. The Felt F75 is still going strong and so far, so am I.
Update 5/20/12 After 13 Double Centuries and More Centuries than I can count... The Felt F75 has been retired. 30,000 miles is a lot for an entry level road bike. Now on: Specialized Roubaix SL4 Expert Ui2. Onward |

Description: The REI catalog and website says, "roadable enough for a century but tough enough for fire roads."
I have put that to the test. I have ridden a full century on the road with this bike and done a few 11 mile intense climb and descent rides on the fire roads of Mendocino county.
Lifetime Odometer:
1,701.0 miles
