Description: This bike and frame, combo of titanium and carbon fiber replaces previous cracked Lemond frame. This frame suffers same fate as prior bike; frame dies and cracks at same spot- at cable post on tube running from head set to pedals. Lemond agrees to again honor warranty and I replace with Trek all carbon Madone frame.

Description: Born at date of purchase -2002. Died when frame broke in 2003. All titanium, burnished finish; my sweetest looking bike. Frame cracked and bike died a year from purchase date. Frame cracked at location of cable posts on tube between head set and pedals. Lemond replaced frame with titanium/carbon combo; see below

Description: All steel horse. Frame was destroyed when bike, and myself, were run into by a minivan. I survived, frame didn't. The components were stripped and used on old garage sale Trek, aluminum frame; this revamped bike, the Trek with components from the Bianchi, serves as my back-up bike and is also used as stationary bike in cold weather set up on a spinner in basement.
