History:

Started riding when I was station in California with the US Navy in 2003. Transfered in 2005 to Maryland and did some riding out there in the hills of western Maryland. Retired from the US Navy in August 2008 and have settled down in Denton Texas. Looking to make new friends who enjoy riding together in the local area.
Update, As of Sunday the 26th of April, my wife and I have joined the "The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team In Training" we will be competing in the Toyota US Open Olympic Triathlon in Dallas Texas on October 11th 2009. Wish us luck, so journal log entries will be on bike training days.
Training update, 19 June 09,
We are in our 8th week of training with Team In Training and love every minute of it. We love working out together which is so much better when your training partner is your best friend and wife all rolled into one. We love everything about the Triathlon training. We or well I think the coach was trying to kill us last week in the pool but we survived the swim class. Overall with the Tri training we love it and see more in our future.
April 17th 2010, Spring is here and back out on the bike and running. Need to invest in a bike trainer for the winter months in North Texas. |
