History:

I have been gradually getting back into biking since about 2003. I bought my first mountain bike (a Schwinn Frontier FS) to commute to and from college when they raised the prices of the parking permit. The bike cost a lot more than the permit, but I had been there for three years and I was getting pretty tired of giving them money all the time. ;-)

Went mountain biking after I'd had the bike for about three weeks and fell instantly in love. Therefore the bike was promptly stolen.

Replaced it with a Diamondback Response, and I've been upgrading ever since...

End up getting in a lot more road miles that dirt miles because of my location--about 45 miles from the nearest trail.

That's more than enough about me, go ride or something.

	2007 Surly Long Haul Trucker Touring Road bike
	Description: I was lucky enough to get an INCREDIBLE deal on this bike. It was one of the first shipment of complete LHTs, and the price was far too good to pass up. Since getting this, I've only ridden the Giant maybe 7 times...this bike is so convenient with its cargo rack and panniers, it's comfortable with its wide tires and slightly more upright position, and it's just all around practical. I expect this to remain my primary ride until I get an Xtracycle or a recumbent. Lifetime Odometer: 3,179.4 miles
