I started riding again in July 2003. My first bike was a Schwinn bought at Wal-Mart. In August 2003, I purchased my Cannondale, on which I have ridden about half of my total miles. In 2008 I purchased a custom built Bike Friday New World Tourist which I use for commuting and loaded touring. My general load, even around town, is about 25-30 pounds of stuff, fully loaded up to 85 pounds of gear. |
