History:
|
I just started riding again Oct 8th, 2005. As recently as 2002 I was riding regularly, but somehow I forgot how to shut my mouth. Even got ashamed to get around the club I use to ride with. I gained 100 lbs. in 2003 and another 68 in 2004. I have now taken lessons on shutting my mouth and on the way back down. Weighing now at 213 which is minus 155lbs. since August 01,05. My goal is 195 or less. I have been walking/running 3.2 miles every morning and plan to ride most afternoons. When the weight got down to 240 I started running each morning for some good cross training for the cycling. Even though getting a late start in the year for cycling and being overweight I still managed to get in 1,503 miles for 2005. My goal of 11,000 miles may be a little ambitious for 2006 but time will tell. With the weight continuing to melt off the cycling is getting better.
