I first joined the Valley Spokesmen in the early 1970's. Back then I would train daily on the back roads with Ed Sikes, Pet Gilbert, Pet Landry, and my best bud Dave Orza. We did time trials on Tassajara road. And the Mount Diablo run was so great, hard going up and fast going down! With that said, I hope to come remotely close to that level of endurance. |
