Started biking again for the first time since childhood about ten years ago while living in the South End of Boston.
Once I moved to the suburbs about 7 years ago, I tried to keep up with it but somehow something always got in the way.
Since last Summer I've been going on the bike pretty regular until winter got cold. Now I'm trying to ride almost day every as part a major weight loss program. I have lost about 100 pounds since the start of 2007. I also have the goal of being able to ride every day to the commuter rail station. Over the long term I want to lose enough weight to be able to use a folding bike on the last leg of my commute after I reach Boston. Thus having a total car free commute. I'm also looking for people to ride with in the South Shore area who are at a similar level. |
