Started mountain biking back in 1996, in the Kettle Moraine State Forest in SE Wisconsin, by first bike was a Trek 930 with no suspension, I learned fast that at least a front suspension should be added so the purchase of a Manitou Fork on then later up graded to a Trek 8900 with hayes disk breaks (heaven), and up graded again in 2002 to a trek liquid30 full suspension. I have done a few races recreational over the years and finally got into the FatTire Race in Chequamegon Nation Forest last year. This years goals are to do a 24hour race, and a couple of 100 mile road rides. I am also the preident of TreadHead Cycling based out of Lake Geneva Wi.
