I started cycling in 2001 right before the first phase of the Ridgeland trails were finished. David took me out for about an 8 mile ride. I was hooked! Little did I know that in less than 10 years I would be riding my bike across our Great Nation!
I started playing with distance by training for a century ride in 2004 which was also when I started touring. I loved them both.
I found randonneuring in 2006 and have enjoyed mixing touring and randonneuring together. Nothing better than spending 10 hours a day on a bike seeing the countryside, right!
On July 11, 2010, I started my journey with PAC Tour to cross the United States from Everett Washington to Williamsburg Virginia in 30 day. It was a BLAST and I can't wait to do it again - hopefully every 5 years or so!

Tour with a group: GRABAAWR - GReat Annual Bicycle Adventure Along the Wisconsin River
Tour on my own: Maine 2006 with Kelli and Cynthia - Shop a day, ride a day!
Greatest non-tour ride: Mineral Wells Texas 400k in 2007. One of the all time courses ever. Still rivals several of my days on my Transcon.
