2005 - Bought new Hase Kettwiesels for myself and my wife. Clocked over 500 miles, commuting to work 32 times
2006 - My son was born. Almost no riding
2007 - Really hard to get back into it
2008 - Rode with a friend a bit. Always said I was going to commute again. Never did.
2009 - After realizing weekend rides were few and far between, I bit the bullet and rode to work. Not as hard as I thought it would be, so worked on getting back into a rhythm. Closing in on 45 commutes and 600 miles.
2010 - Got off to a good start on March 17th this year. Several months earlier than "usual". Having reached my 1000 mile goal in mid-October, I continue working on my 80 commute days goal.
2011 - Later start this year. Didn't get my first commute in until April. I'm hoping to keep my commutes steady this year, but bring back dome more leisure rides on weekends. |
