I got back into biking in the summer of 2003. I was using a Huffy mountain bike that I had had for a few years. I put "road" tires on it. I was happy at the time, cause it increased my avg. speed by about 1 to 2 mph. Then, when my buddy, cheville, got into as well, and I knew I was going to stay with it. I bought a Trek 1200c road bike in the fall of 2003. WOW! What a difference! I put about 127 miles on the trek that fall. I'm loving every minute of it! |
