History:

Never could get out of the valley I grew up in with either my BMX bike or mom's single speed cruiser, so outside of riding like a fiend around the house as a kid, I was not a cyclist. While travelling in Hawai'i many years later, I borrowed an old beat up department store bike to run to the store and fell in love. I also realized the utilitarian nature of the bike as transportation and soon after began commuting exclusively by bike. I spent some time as a bike messenger in Cleveland and went on to work at Bike Friday, where I've done production, inventory, sales, and was even the customer service manager. |

1986 Miyata One Hundred
Fixed Gear Road bike |
Description: "Mojo," my trusty old messenger bike and inspiration for my Bike Friday fixed gear. Phil Wood flip flop rear hub, Campy Record front, carbon fork. It's a beaut. Unfortunately it hadn't been ridden much since building the other bike, so I sold her. She's in good hands, but she will be missed.

Bike Friday * buddy bike *

Description: Random borrowed/shared Bike Friday. It happens often enough I should have this little placeholder. Since I've been riding the showroom SatRDay MkII Tour a lot, I've made it represent this general category.
