I'm a fan of the Atlas Obscura website that has articles about interesting and little-known places around the world. They had this link about a bike path in Belgium that is "sunk below water level for maximum wonder www.atlasobscura.com/places/cycling-through-water I've added to my list of places to go if I ever get to Belgium.

If you are planning a tour, the search engine on Atlas Obscura usually has something that if not on most tour guide lists if you're looking for something different to ride to.

Wow! "We do not want to create more miles, we want to create better miles."

That is an interesting concept. I think that should be on a bucket list. Thanks for the post.

Hmm, I live in Leipzig, Germany during the warm weather months. This bike path is about 40 km west of Aachen, so if I am visiting in the northwestern part of Germany I'll try to schedule a short detour to Belgium.
