I rode the Surly this morning up the trail. The tennis courts at Cleveland Park are gone. They are just several piles of asphalt. When I made it to Travelers Rest Main Street was closed and the bike shop on Main Street had burned. I later found that a car had a medical emergency, hit the building very hard, and started a fire. I rode on north the North Greenville Hospital to visit my friend Ernie. I rode back down the trail and stopped at Due South Roasters for a brevé. When I got off the trail, they were laying asphalt on Hillside Drive, so I had to work my way through that. The climb up Hillside really wore me out.
