I rode the Trek to meet Kimberly at Verdae. She was a little behind, so I rode on toward Whole Foods and met her just beyond Embassy Suites. We rode up the trail to Leopard Forest in Travelers Rest. I had a pair of café au lait drinks and a bottle of Fuji water. We rode from there to the north end of the trail, then took White Horse Road Extension to Lindsey Lake. We followed it onto Tubbs Mountain Road then took the first right. We took Coleman up its killer hill back to US 25 and rode the shoulder back into town for a second stop at Leopard Forest where I had a café au lait and two bottle of Fuji water. I got hooked at Tubbs Mountain Road when riding back to TR. Kimberly and I played tag with a couple that we kept passing and they kept passing us until we stopped at the Swamp Rabbit Café. By that time I was in serious fuel debt. I bought a BLT salad with turkey and a cup of ice for my drinks. While there we ran into Jeff H. Kimberly left then a fellow named Stan sat with us. I made a pit stop then headed back home.
