I rode the Surly from home to Verdae, then across town to Hampton Station and took OBR to Walmart and Furman. I rode by the Mustang house and took the frontage road to the Gulf and the trail. I followed it to the north end, then got off at the cemetery to Lindsey Lake and Tubbs Mountain Road. I followed Tubbs back into town them went to the Leopard Forest where Nancy was sitting outside. I got a café au lait and drank it while chatting with Nancy. We rode together back down the trail but I turned off after the SRC to go to White Duck Taco. I had a fish taco on lettuce and refilled my bottles with ice and water. I called Cissi and went in Due South Roasters and got her an Orange Cardamom pastry. I rode home from there by the falls and the tree of death. It seemed like I fought the wind a lot today. I enjoyed talking to Nancy.
