I rode the Surly from home to the Commons to meet Andy for a ride. We left the Commons and rode over the Liberty Bridge then by the Grand Bohemian to get to Cleveland Park. We rode the streets to the Paperclip then headed to Verdae. Kimberly caught us when riding back from Verdae, then she left us somewhere along the way. She really wanted Andy to ride Paris Mountain with her. We rode back up the trail, through the Cancer Survivor Park, and into Falls Park. We stopped the the root tree then rode along the falls. We rode straight up the trail but we took a scenice ride through the Furman campus. We rode to the north end of the trail where Ken and Mark were sitting. We stopped and talked with them. From there we rode to Lindsey and took my loop around Tubbs to get to Tubbs Mountain. I was really struggling to climb on the Surly. At the top of Tubbs Mountain we had a good view of Table Rock and Paris Mountain. We took Tubbs Mountain Road back to TR and over to the Leopard Forest. I ordered a café au lait and Andy said I'll have the same but with no coffee. We each had 2 cups then headed back down the trail. I texted Cissi to come pick up Andy at the Commons, but she didn't know how to get there. Sharon got on the phone and I told her that Cissi didn't know how to get to the Commons, so she came and picked up Andy. Sharon's house is about 1 1/2 miles from there so I rode to Sharon's. Sharon had a meal for us then she, Andy, Jan, Cissi, and I sat and talked for a good while. It was an enjoyable day!
