I rode the Surly from home to the Swamp Rabbit Café to meet the Swamp ROMP group. Eight of us left the café - Kathy, Elizabeth, Jeff, Steve S, Dave and Patrica, Dave, and me. Jeff really struggled riding today. He hasn't been riding and he was dying out there. I rode with Elizabeth, then Kathy, then with both Daves. We ate at the Monkey Wrench. I had 6 chicken wings with collard greens. Poor Elizabeth, Dave ate her taco thinking it was hers. Then they charged her for Kathy's meal. Kathy and Elizabeth left first and they were both stopping at Furman. Dave, and Dave and Patricia left after they did. Jef's trike was broken down and I fixed it so we could leave. Steve was in no hurry, so we waited on Jeff. We had to stop several times for him to catch up. Steve stopped at Southern Bistro across from the Commons while I stayed with Jeff until he was at his apartment building. I rode home on Broad, Falls, down Cleveland and through the park. I rode out the new part to Verdae, then took pix of the work being done toward Legacy Park. I also stopped at Cohesive Coffee on the way home for a café au lait.
