I rode the Surly from home to the Swamp Rabbit Café to ride with the Swamp ROMP. There were 4 signed up but only 3 showed - Mark, Kathy, and me. Kathy was very slow today, which was fine as I was very slow as well. We rode to Upcountry Provisions where I had a frittata. Mark didn't want to wait on us riding down the trail, so he left us. Kathy and I rode back to Furman where she had parked. Then I rode down to Hampton Station and had a caffe breve at Due South Roasters. I rode to the Commons to check out the expansion. It connects to the Commons and has 4 places set up. I survived climbing Hillside Drive, but that was it - I survived.
