What's a green mile? No gas powered emissions?

There should be a thread discussing this topic somewhere; but here it is in a nutshell:
A green mile is mile of driving I replace by bicycling. Many of my blog posts have 7.3 green miles which is the round trip drving distance to the train station I would normally do as part of my daily commute. My actual minimum (and why stop at the minimum - eh) cycling distance is about 8.7 miles.
I also proposed brown miles which would be miles driven for cycling activities such as driving to the bike shop to pick up something or to a cycling event.
I advocated for slantz to add a green/brown miles column to our journals but so far not successfully, hence the blog entries.
