Out to Black Point Marina and beyond to the nursery farms with brutal headwinds of 15 to 25 mph plus thunderstorms. So much for a nice easy ride. 
The house where I'm staying was being "shown" so I just toodled in and around the neighborhood to finish off a metric.
How to lose a customer Gas station had Gatorade "2 for $3". I sez: "Can I pay for two now and pick one up on my way home." Counter guy says "No". I sez "I'm here all the time. Why can't you do this." He: "I can't"
Went to the gas station across the street. Same question. Answer: "Sure. Here's a note in case I'm not here when you get back."
When I got back I said give the 2nd bottle to someone who needs it.
I'm outside drinking my recovery chocolate milk, when a tired looking, sweaty laborer with a big bottle of Gatorade in hand taps me on the shoulder ands says: "Thanks".
Guess where I'll be buying my gas and sundries from now on.
