Ride Description: Well, what I had hoped would be at least a 13 mph 30 miler turned into a hard won 27 very slow miles. Flu dregs still have me at about 78%. Still, it was nice to get out and ride the bike paths here. Headed out the Yangmin (bumpy) path to Guandu, over the red bridge to the right for a doughnut. Blast it all to heck, I was too early for the pastry delights. I did have a nice chat with a group of Chinese bikers, one with my exact bike. I then headed back the way I first came, and on past the red bridge, thinking I'd get over to Dadaocheng Wharf. My sensible self kicked in after I was past the ratty bridge and decided to turn around and head home. Will try again tomorrow. Oh yeah, almost flat front tire by the time I got home. Time to practice my tire changing prowess.
