Ride Description: A short ride around the 'hood to see how the new Sette Lynx saddle works. Not bad. The tilt is slightly down on the back side, I might keep it this way. |

After putting on my new Sette Lynx saddle, I went out for a short ride to see how well the saddle sore had healed. All is good on the southern front!
I just "eyeballed" the saddle when I put it on, and got it very close to where I usually like it. I like my saddle perfectly level, but the nose was about 2 millimeters higher than the back end, and it was actually pretty comfy that way. It did set me back on my "sitting bones" and take a little pressure off my perinium. I got used to this feeling and I think I'll keep it that way.
The saddle doesn't have a lot of padding, but I liked the feel of it. I couldn't really feel the cut-out area in the saddle, so I guess that's a good thing.

Hey, I only need 15.65 more miles this month to break my record for January again.
Photo #1... A look down our street. I try to stay away from that bare pavement.
Photo #2... The new saddle, on my "spare" Thompson Elite seatpost.
Photo #3... So far we haven't had much snow melt this year, and the pile is getting higher and higher.
