| Weather Conditions: WINDY, cloudy, spitting rain. Temp cool, chilly even coming down the hills. |
| Ride Description: Psycho Squirrel Bridge, then over to Peitou to Four Corners and down via Cherry Hill. Sat down to enjoy a fresh tart tangerine when two old ladies walked past me, decided to stop and "talk." Mind you, I know virtually no Mandarin and they certainly knew no English. They did enjoy poking me in the stomach and patting my leg and muttering "jiao" which means "go". Could it be they thought my gut helped me up the hills? Or maybe thye were in the know about the very helpful"descending muscle." No clue, but I was happy when they crossed the street and boarded the downhill bus. |
