Ride Description: River loop...had thought I'd go to the right to get to My Island, but the bike path beat me up too much. Wind was absolutely ferocious today, every time I turned into a new direction, there it was, blasting me in my face. Definitely a workout ride today. Stopped on the bike path at one spot to let a little blue truck get by...unclipped the right, not the left, when the truck was by I tried to put out my left foot...yep, went down. Not too much damage, road rash on the left knee, bloody "tooth" marks on the right calf. Saw Josh out with Laura H. fighting the wind heading out to Dadaocheng. Carl came up behind me on my last little bit home, so we had a bit of a chat. I enjoyed my ride alone with the iPod, but it was nice to chat with the other folks. Photo is of the bike inside one of my favorite stopping places.
