| Ride Description: Karen J., Carol, and myself were the intrepid three this morning. Headed toward the Grand Hotel path since Carol hadn't been that way before. Got just past where the old cruddy concrete used to be, (it's been resurfaced) to the green bricks and turned around. We had stopped previously for a small break and had a nice chat with Hazel, a tv personality here in Taiwan who is part of a long-running English teaching show. On the way back home, we stopped at Wendell's German Backerie for breakfast and a loaf of bread to go. Even with my "piss on Taiwan's weather" attitude at the beginning of the morning, it turned out to be a positive day. |
