I rode the Trek from home today to Cleveland Park, but the Sunday group had left 20 minutes ahead of me. I rode by the old dog park and took the Woodland Way Circle then looped by the old dog park. I took my Cleveland-Camperdown-Falls-Broad-Washington connection to the Hampton Avenue Bridge and took the Orange Line to Old Buncombe Road. I rode it to the Lakeview spur and got on the trail. I took my long loop around the Furman Campus then rode up the trail to the north end. When I stopped there Ken's group caught me. It was Ken, Mark, Kimberly, Nancy, and Howie. We rode back to the TRee House and Luiz and his son were there. I got a Cafe au Lait and talked to Madison and Rachel. We took the big table inside and had a lively discussion around the table. While there, Kristen came by and said "Hello!" They were trying to talk her into adding hotdogs to the menu.
I said "Hello!" to Gene as we were leaving. The ride down the trail started as a lively ride, but then it slowed down. Luiz and his son left us at the TRee House and How cut off at the Furman golf course. Kimberly and Nancy got off at Willard Street, then Ken, Mark, and I rode to Cleveland Park. Ken and Mark headed toward the Hincapie Path to get 30 miles while I headed for home. I stopped at the zoo parking lot, where I turned on my blinkies, and headed for home.
