| Ride Description: Headed for Helen's. Turned right at Flying Squirrel Bridge (aka Barbecue Bridge) and a fella told me I was going the right way. Started up the hill, climbed and climbed and climbed, with a few flat areas to catch my breath. Stopped when the road split, signs in Chinese didn't help. Went to the left, too much downhill so didn't feel right. Turned around and went the other way. Didn't feel right either so headed back down, somehow missed a turn and whizzed down, holy cow, fun and scary, top speed around 30, braking lightly most of the way. Came out at a different bridge at the right road. Will do this again! Then just went out to Dadocheng Wharf and back. |
