Today Bill and I took off to ride on the Final 50. We were late getting there so started behind the groups leaving to ride the 50 or 26 mile routes. Bill knew the route that he wanted to do, so we took off and headed to go out so far then return in time for the meal afterward. We rode as far as the Saluda River crossing then turned to come back. On the way back we were passed by many of the riders. Once we were back I made plates for Bill and me and we sat at the table. I took a seat by the end of the table and Bill rolled his trike to the end of the table. I saw Lou while there but then people started seeing that BIll was there and came over to talk to him. It was a good ride. We could have ridden much farther if we didn’t have to be back for the lunch, but the lunch made it a good day.
