I rode the Trek from home wanting to go out Old Buncombe Road to Travelers Rest. Instead of going through the park, I skirted along the north side of downtown, then a block off of Pete Hollis until Old Buncombe starts. I took it as far as the Poe Mill area and cut through it. I decided to take some unknown streets and did some wandering until I got back to Old Buncombe at Velo Valets. I followed Old Buncombe util it ends in TR then took the trail to my turn around point across from Tandem Creperie. I went back down the sidewalk and stopped at the TReehouse, but they were closed. I took a picture of my date for New Years wearing a Bob Ross shirt. From there I rode south on the trail back to the swamp Rabbit Cafe and stopped for a snack. I had a quinoa salad with a decaf Americano and bought a peanut butter chocolate chunk cookie for Cissi. From there I rode back through the parks and climbed the big hill to get home. But when I turned onto East North Street there had been a terrible wreck and all lanes were blocked. I passed by it on the sidewalk, but the wreck looked pretty bad. I rode on home and climbed the little hill to get home.
