Today I rode the Trek from the tennis courts and looped the old dog park to meet the group for Ken’s Sunday Ride by the zoo. Seven of us left - Ken, Mark, Steve S, Sarah, Bo, Carlton, and me. I took off and led the group out. We looped the dog park then headed up the trailI pushed the pace until we came to Linky Stone Park, then I dropped off to see if Don and Lynda were there, which they were not. From there Carlton an I rode at the back and chatted while going up the trail. Ken and the group stopped at the new statue just short of the Pocket Park and I continued up the trail. I rode on to Furman and looped the lake including bypassing the two shortcut bridges. The group caught me at the turnaround point, then we stopped at the TreeHouse. There I had a cup of decaf and a cup of cut fruit. I also bought a blueberry scone to take home to Cissi. I left the TreeHouse ahead of the group and hurried down the trail. The ride down was uneventful. I looped the old dog park area again and finished the ride.
