A photo was published in the morning local paper that was taken during my commute home yesterday. Click here to see image.
The commute home today took a little longer because pedaling through several inches of new snow takes a lot more energy.
I also pulled over several times when cars started to back up behind me. I didn't want any of them to try something stupid. Unlike me, the cars had very poor traction conditions. My studded tire din't break traction even once. My main objective was to stay out of the way of the slip-sliding cars. I'm very familiar with the route home, so staying safe is relatively easy.
On the way home I got to pedal past a line of cars that were unsuccessfully trying to spin their way up a hill--hence the post title. That was fun. Their only hope was to back down the hill---they may still be there.
