Clear skies, calm wind, temperature 15°F, a perfect winter-day commute to work.
My winter-morning gear-up is now a routine. I don't have to stop and think what to put on next, I just get dressed and leave. I have a new balaclava that is just wonderful. There is a hole for my nose and a mesh area over my mouth---just like magic, no fogging of my glasses. I wish that I had one of these last year.
I guess that my wife is getting used to my commuting on these cold winter days. Today is the first day that she hasn't called to see if I made it to work safely. I have no idea why she puts up with me.
