| Weather Conditions: About 18°, hazy and pretty polluted, absolutely no wind so it was a nice ride. |
| Ride Description: With David, Mingde MRT station, Xindian Line, got off at Gonguan. A wee bit of street riding, then past Taipei Water Park to a fantastic bike path which now connects to Dadaocheng Wharf path. After Mingde Bridge, instead of going straight our normal way, turned right, then right again, stopped at a convenience store for some juice. Went straight, then right, and up a ramp to a dike, then down a ramp which led us to our yellow tiger and the new bike path that connects to my normal riverside one. Rode left to the end, still not open, then right to the end. Decided to go up a hill (had to walk the bikes) where there was a Buddhist temple or something. Then just went home our usual way. |
