Ride Description: A contingent of bikers went out yesterday morning to honor Dave. I decided not to go for several reasons. One, they had all ridden with him, and most had participated with him in races, and I didn't want to be an interloper on their farewell. Two, my knee is barely making it up baby hills, so I knew whichever route they chose would be too much for me.

I decided to have a solo farewell today, and dedicate my outdoor miles today to Dave and the YCC. It was a drizzly morning, so I went out just a bit past the Grand Hotel and back. Front tire flatted at the baseball fields. Tough tire to get back on, but I got it. Had one old guy stop and watch for awhile, but went on when he figured out I could handle it myself.

Will be nice when the Saturday bike rides can start up again.
