Weather Conditions: Beautiful...around 70? No wind to start the day, headwinds to end the ride.
Ride Description: My second metric of the year, finally. From my apartment to the Taipei Zoo, 25 miles. Shoot, was hoping it was at least 30, that would make for an easier metric. So anyway, headed back the same way, except I went clear to the other end of the bike path where they are still working. From there over the Chengde Bridge, dike at the soccer fields (where I finally gave in and changed the tube in the front tire instead of stopping to pump air every so often) and then just around and about to make the metric. Great metric on the way out, harder to do on the way back in, headwinds came up, stomach felt wonky while I was changing the tube, so I ate a granola bar which helped a bit. Still, not too bad a time and average speed for today.
