| Ride Description: A very slow solo River Loop ride, with a short foray to the hill above the Guandu Temple to see the church Karen P. told me about. So many people, there was a bike ride of some sort, never did find out exactly what it was. At Dadaocheng Wharf I rode in front of a bunch of media video cameras. One of the mayoral candidates was there and rode some guys bike for a very short spin. Had a great chat with a train engineer named Sean, great English. (Makes me think I really should study Mandarin if we're going to be here too much longer.) He had just gotten back from a week long tour in mainland China. |
