At first I couldn't start. I rode 1/2 block then realized that I didn't have my gloves on.k. I rode back up the hill and put them on. I rode a block and discovered that I hadn't brought a water bottle. I rode back up the hill and made a bottle of my "secret sauce" then left again. The trail is still closed from Hudson to Willard. It is also closed from the US 25 bridge to Edwards Street. I worked my way around the closures and turned back across from the Creperie. I stopped at the TRee House and had a decaf au lait. I told Lindy and Reagan that I have missed them and regaled them with my travels and showed pix from my phone. I rode back down the trail, but thought the front end felt soft when I crossed Blue Ridge Drive. I pulled into the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and it was nearly flat. I walked to the bike store there and the building is full of picnic tables. I called Cissi to come get me. While waiting for her, I went in and bought a box of Organic Cocoa Dusted Dark Chocolate Cashews and three cans of organic cat food. We'll see if her highness while eat them or not!
