| Weather Conditions: Started out pretty hot with clear blue sky. After a bit the Phillipines typhoon gave us some cloud cover and heavy wind. Wind, not nice...cloud cover, nice. Temp probably 80 at the start, dropped to a decent 70 ish. |
| Ride Description: Karen J., Karen P., and myself went to Tanshui, ferried to Bali, rode around the museum, stopped for famous donuts and fresh oj and guava juice, then headed back for Tienmu via the red bridge. Got to the path where we can split to the left or right, and lotsa folks were getting ready for the dragon boat eye painting ceremony. Karen J. and I stayed, got to see Mayor Ma make a speech (in English and Mandarin) watched some great drummers, and rode along with the launched dragon boats as far as the Grand Hotel. Very cool. |
